Preparing Your Information

Typefaces Used

Contact Chad Pastotnik at Deep Wood to inquire further about your printing needs.
We would very much like to work with you to create your own unique expression of your special day. Offering more than just a series of templates that you plug your information into, we encourage your own ideas. That could be layout, image, font or color decisions that we will gladly help with to ensure a harmonious end result. A majority of our customers give us some idea of design elements and color use and leave the typography to our experienced concern.

There are roughly 35 invitations to view in the following pages. We have in our possession most of the cuts used for the graphics and in many cases they are original creations.  Should you see any elements that you would like to incorporate into your own design feel free to make an inquirey.
Visit our link, preparing your information, to assist with your planning process.

If you are a graphic designer looking for a competent printer to execute your creation look no further. With nearly 15 years experience in letterpress and longer in the fine arts and design fields we have the necessary skills and honed craftsmanship to do the job. For information about file types and graphic specifications contact us.

Hoping to use recycled content papers?

Consider the costs of remanufacturing and the energy used to do it.  Consider what the base ingredients are.  And then consider the end product as compared to:

Handmade and mouldmade sheets, made by several mills listed above, often use recycled cotton rag content and some of the mills like Twinrocker and Arpa are quite small operations.  By using their products you are supporting small business, recycling material, using natural fibers instead of bleached wood pulp and the paper has no comparison to anything you could find "off the shelf."

If you have a paper already that you would like to use send us a sample. If appropriate, we'll be happy to have you provide the materials.

Thank you so much for the beautiful work you did on our invitations. We couldn't have imagined they would turn out so amazing. We love them and will treasure them as a keepsake forever. Maybe next time I come home to Michigan I'll have to stop by and thank you in person.
