This shows
the exterior and inside of the card. Three hundred of these cards
were made for the San Francisco Examiner as New Years cards for their
suppliers and distributors. At this time the paper had been
defunct for a number of years and the new editor and head of sales
wanted to make a formal announcement with a touch of class when the
paper once again came into circulation. Printed on hand torn
Somerset Textured paper in the
font of Lydian and foil stamped with metalic copper (2001). The
paper's
logo as well as the old platen press image are cuts made from digital
files.
